Installation and Integration

ProEMPT Technology has been designed from the ground up to seamlessly integrate with a multitude of the most common IT applications and platforms. Additionally, our use of standardized XML to transport data to and from our services means that our product will remain flexible and adaptable as new technologies and standards continue to emerge.

LDAP

The ProEMPT Technology Admin Tool allows the automated importing of existing email system users into the ProEMPT system using the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), an industry standard. Most LDAP compliant directories such as Active Directory for Windows 2000, Novell Directory Services, and Netscape Directory are supported.

LDIF

In conjunction with LDAP, ProEMPT supports Lightweight Directory Interchange Format (LDIF) to allow interchange and synchronization of data (for example user additions, updates, or deletions) between legacy user directories and the ProEMPT system.

SNMP

The Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is an application layer protocol that facilitates the exchange of management information between network devices. By supporting SNMP the ProEMPT system enables network administrators to manage performance, find and solve network problems, and plan for network growth.

SMTP

The Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP) is an industry standard protocol for sending email messages between servers. ProEMPT Technology can use SMTP to send process messages via email such as, escalations, action items and notifications, to users either outside or inside the ProEMPT system no matter what the email application is.

Crystal Reports

Support for viewing Crystal Reports from directly within our user interface allows users to view and track critical process data without leaving the ProEMPT application.

Voice Capabilities

ProEMPT integrates easily with your existing outbound dialer and can also make use of your existing switch and voice response server in order to seamlessly deliver messages to first responders on site at an event.

HP OpenView

Integration with the HP OpenView suite means that ProEMPT processes can be used to adaptively manage a wide variety of network and operational applications and services.

Microsoft Outlook

ProEMPT processes can be used in conjunction with Microsoft Outlook to schedule Calendar items and forward them to system users using Outlook folders.

Remedy

Leveraging the services based, XML architecture ProEMPT Technology has announced the availability of its web services connector. This allows ProEMPT processes to quickly integrate with virtually any web service. One of the first processes built with this connector is designed to integrate ProEMPT with any Remedy application. ProEMPT Technology has created processes that utilize this integration and highlight how customers can combine the speed and flexibility of ProEMPT Technology with their existing Remedy applications to produce solutions that are tailored to fit their business needs.

Windows Scheduler

The Microsoft Windows Scheduler tool can easily be configured to start ProEMPT processes on a recurring or non-recurring basis. This may be particularly useful in running routine processes for verifying the contact information of all process participants.

Other Apps via RPM process launcher

The ProEMPT Process Launcher tool can be used to launch ProEMPT Processes from within web browsers as well as a whole host of desktop and enterprise wide applications.
